Each dog in our breeding program has underwent DNA genetic testing for health, traits. In addition, our studs have all been DNA tested by AKC.

Hydie Mini Schnauzer is a well-known Dog Breeder in Ararat, VA. We have been involved with breeding miniature schnauzers since 2012. Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond.
A Bit of Background
How We Got Started
Our family desired a pet and our son had allergies. After research and consideration the Mini Schnauzer was our choice. The schnauzers are a intelligent, loyal, minimal shedding breed which was and continues to be our perfect fit.
We plan to breed females once a year to ensure the health of our pets and their offspring. EACH dog in the breeding program has been DNA health tested.
Our AKC Mini Schnauzer puppies are raised in our home along with a fenced in yard. They are socialized with other pets and children. At night they are crated for their safety and best interest.
All services are preformed by vet such as tail docking, dew claw removal, fecal exam and first puppy visit (includes first vaccine). We will provide a puppy folder from our vet to ease the transition to your vet of choice. All puppies leave with a puppy pack which includes: 8lb bag of food, toys, and additional items that vary per litter.
